Prerequisites
Before you start
Tick off these 3 items. Do this on a laptop or desktop at claude.ai. It is much easier than on a phone.
Get the Meta Ads link
You need one link. Here it is, so you can skip the search if you like.

- Go to Google and search Facebook Ads MCP
- Open the first result. It is Meta's own page, called Ads MCP Server | Meta for Developers
- Scroll down a little to the line that says the server is remote-hosted at https://mcp.facebook.com/ads
- Copy that link
Add Meta Ads to Claude
- Open claude.ai and log in
- In the left sidebar, click Customize
- At the top, click the Connectors tab
- Click the black + Add button on the right
- Choose Add custom connector
- A box pops up. In the first field (Name), type Meta Ads
- In the second field (URL), paste https://mcp.facebook.com/ads
- Click Continue
- Claude checks the link for a few seconds. On the next screen, leave all the options as they are and click Add
Meta Ads now shows in your connectors list.
Sign in to Facebook
You only do this once.
- After you click Add, you land on the Meta Ads connector page
- Click Connect
- A Facebook window opens. Log in with the account that has access to your ads
- Choose the business and ad account you want Claude to see, then approve
- You return to Claude, and it says you are connected
Did not see the Connect button? Go to Customize, then Connectors, click Meta Ads in your list, and click Connect from there.
Test the connection
- Open a new chat in Claude
- Paste this prompt:

6.4 Review before anything goes live
- Open Meta Ads Manager
- Find the new campaign
- Check the audience, the budget and the ads
- When you are happy, switch it on yourself
Safeguards
Keep your money safe
Always say "create it as paused" or "draft only" when you ask Claude to build or change a campaign. Then nothing spends until you have checked it.
Read what Claude is about to do. When Claude asks permission to run an action, read it before you click Allow.
Higgsfield uses credits. Ten concepts use more credits than three, so start small.
Troubleshooting
If something goes wrong

| My ad account is not in the list | Your Facebook login does not have access to it. Ask your Business Manager admin to add you to the ad account. |

Can I connect Meta Ads to Claude for free?
Yes. A free Claude account can add one custom connector, so you can connect Meta Ads. To add both Meta Ads and Higgsfield you need a paid plan such as Pro or Max.
What is the Meta Ads connector link for Claude?
The remote-hosted Meta Ads server link is https://mcp.facebook.com/ads. Paste it as the URL when you add a custom connector in Claude.
Will Claude spend my ad budget without asking?
Not if you ask for campaigns to be created as paused or as a draft only. Nothing spends until you review the campaign in Meta Ads Manager and switch it on yourself.
